PSYWERX is a nonprofit initiative focused on making behavioral and social science more accessible, connected, and useful for information professionals. With a particular focus on national security and the information environment, we bring together theories, models, frameworks, methods, and emerging technologies to better understand the forces that shape human behavior.

Human behavior emerges from interacting psychological, social, cultural, environmental, biological, informational, and technological conditions. PSYWERX examines those systems to help practitioners move beyond describing behavior toward understanding the mechanisms and conditions that produce it.

Building a Practical Behavioral Science Knowledge Base

PSYWERX is developing an interdisciplinary knowledge base that connects behavioral science concepts with real-world application. Our goal is to help researchers, analysts, strategists, educators, technologists, and practitioners discover relevant theories and frameworks, understand behavioral drivers and mechanisms, and apply scientific insight to challenges involving national security, influence, information, decision-making, and human behavior.
